So as usual this summer has been crazy for the entire family. The Laminack clan has had a lot going on this summer. We tried to spend as much time as we could at the pool. We didn't go as much as the boys would have liked. We even did swim lessons at the Belleville Pool. Hunter completed level 3 and AJ is still level 2. The boys had lots of fun at the Belleville pool, especially when it comes to the diving board. My little guys are fish!!! We also got new bikes this summer. We didn't quite learn to ride but 
PaPa Bub sure did try. Unfortunately I don't have a good yard, sidewalk or alley for the boys to ride. Our front yard has a little too much traffic for me. Hopefully we will try to get to Aunt Sara's and Uncle Byron's before it gets too cold and practice there. We decided to put training wheels on Hunter's cause we really never rode last year to begin with. It's on our list of things to do before the winter comes. That way next year AJ will 
learn and we can all go for family rides. I would love for Hunter to ride the Tour De Belleville with me next year. That would be awesome!!! As for PaPa Bub- I promise he has a bike that will fit him for his rides!! He was just remembering the old days when he was a wee lad.

key Joe's with our cousins. It's a shame that no one else could make it. The boys had A BLAST. We got there first thing in the morning and the kids all ran around like crazy kids till lunch. By then it was time for the girls and Trey's nap. So we all decided to head out to McDonald's and get some lunch. They charge quite a bit for their food at Monkey Joe's. Luckily McDonald's was close cause my boys were starved. Aft

we ate a big lunch we had to stop and smell the flowers on the way out. If any of you have the chance to go to Monkey Joe's again I highly recommend it. Just make sure you eat good before you go so you can stay longer. We are going to try Bounce U sometime soon we hope. They only allow 25 people at a time, and you only get a little over an hour to play. So we will scope it out and let you know how it goes.

They really love that play clothes box (we can't call it dress up cause that's for girls) Having them come upstairs in some different combination of costumes is always good for a laugh. The pic of Hunter, that costume is from 3 years ago and Hunter BARELY fits in it, but he was a dino-cop. One of AJ's best friend's Matt-Matt loves to wear our firefighter costume. It's almost a guarantee that if he's over here that he will be wearing it.

in Santa Claus, IN. It was my 2 rug rats, 2 twelve year olds that are really good friends of the boys and me, and of course me and Daniel. Daniel could only get one day off so we drove out that morning (got there at 10ish) and stayed till they closed at 7:30, and drove home. If you have never been to Holiday World and you have little ones, this is about 10 times better than 6 Flags. Hunter was able to ride every ride in the park, including all the roller coasters. Keep in mind they are all wooden. AJ was just a hair to short, but we are going to ride 
them together next year. We really had a lot of
fun there and the day passed by quickly. Now for those who have never been there, they give you free drinks and sunscreen. When we went to the water park AJ was big enough to ride every ride there, just he had to ride with an adult. It was fun, because most of the rides are raft rides for 4 people. Daniel says we are going again next year, but we are going to stay for the whole weekend so we can do all the rides. As for the favorites, Hunter loved the Voyage, which was rated the #1 wooden roller coaster in 2008. AJ liked the Frightful Falls (log flume) and we even rode it 2 times. When the big kids went on a roller coaster, we found a ride around it to ride while we waited.
